The P-40 Warhawk, first constructed by Curtiss-Wright in 1938, was a versatile military aircraft that served as a fighter, escort, and bomber. Although the P-40 did not see much action in the more glamorous European battles of World War II, it played a pivotal role in other theatres, such as North Africa and the Middle East.
Over 13,700 Warhawks were manufactured by Curtiss. These aircraft were not especially fast at high altitudes but performed well at low to middle altitudes. In fact, the P-40 had the fastest diving rate of any WWII fighter. This made these “sharks grin” painted fighters ideal for ground attack and support positions.
On this DVD you’ll receive numerous blueprints and manuals for the Warhawk. The DVD works on both Mac and Windows systems and will allow you to print posters and look into all the details of this fierce fighter.
